YOUNGSTERS in Taunton have started their school journeys by joining their reception classes.
Parents and guardians have dropped their children at the school gates for the first time, letting them meet their new teachers and classmates.
To celebrate this milestone, the Somerset County Gazette has put together a supplement packed with pictures from the town's reception classes.
Here are photos from Wellsprings School, North Curry CofE Primary School, Parkfield Primary School, two classes at Bishop Henderson C of E Primary School, and the Sparrow Class at Ashcott Primary School.
