A popular comedy competition will return to Taunton this year.
Stand Up For Cider, which first started in 2014, will be held at The Creative Innovation Centre, in Paul Street, Taunton.
The competition is known to be a sell-out event and has been sponsored by Berry's Coaches, Sheppy's Cider, County Gazette, Walpole Dunn Chartered Certified Accountants, and Design Bean.
Organiser Trish Caller, who runs Genius PR and Events, said: "I am super excited about Stand Up For Cider this year.
"We have the best acts and audiences at every show.
"Audience members are given scoring sheets on arrival so they can vote for their favourite amateur comedian on the night.
"The top two or three from each round will then go through to the grand final."
Each show will have a professional MC who will introduce the comedians, who will be at amateur to semi-pro level, and a professional headline act from the UK comedy circuit.
A spokesperson for the venue said: "CICCIC is a cosy venue, perfect for comedy, great atmosphere and bar.
"Book early as many shows sell out."
Doors will open at 7pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets, which cost £12, or £15 on the door if available, are on sale now and can be bought by calling 01823 337477 or by visiting the venue's website.
