A FLOOD alert has been issued for East Somerset rivers after the heavy rainfall today (September 23).
The Environment Agency said river levels have risen on the River Sheppey due to the heavy rainfall.
The areas most at risk include the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare Road.

The flood alert area include the rivers Brue, Sheppey, Glastonbury Millstream, and North and South Drains.
A message published on the EA website read: River levels have risen on the River Sheppey due to the heavy rainfall this today.
"Areas most at risk include the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare Road.
"The most intense rain has passed but further rain is forecast the rest of today, before a dry outlook tomorrow.
"Property flooding is not currently expected. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels closely and incident response staff are checking rivers for blockages.
"Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
"Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
"This message will be updated by 1pm tomorrow (September 24) or as the situation changes."
