THE Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide has been announced for 2025, and here are ten of Somerset's pubs that have made the list.
It was a strong year for Somerset pubs with 102 pubs listed in CAMRA's guide, including four pubs in Taunton and several in neighbouring villages.
The Campaign for Real Ale’s Good Beer Guide – the UK’s best-selling beer and pub guide – lists 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK and is the definitive beer drinker’s guide for those seeking the best pints in the nations’ pubs. It is on sale now on CAMRA's website.
Ten Somerset pubs listed in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide:
1. Ring of Bells, St James Street, Taunton
The pub boasts five nationally-soured changing beers from local brewers Bristol Beer Factory, Otter, and Quantock. It has all the charm of a country pub, with the convenience of a town-centre location.
