BLEED kits have been installed in seven locations around Yeovil, to help prevent life-threatening bleeding from injuries such as stab wounds.
Avon and Somerset Bleed Kit Partnership has appealed to businesses on the specific roads listed below to get in contact if they would allow a fully-funded bleed kit to be installed at their premises.
A spokesperson for South Somerset Neighbourhood Policing said: "Avon and Somerset Bleed Kit Partnership Have been in Yeovil over the weekend installing the first of many new kits coming to the town.
"The new kits have been installed at HSBC on Middle Street and at Dominos on Wyndham Street.
"These kits form a collection of seven which are due to be installed within the town centre area.
"We are still looking to install at the following SPECIFIC roads, or nearby, kits which have been fully funded by Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner - please spread the word in Yeovil and if you have a business or premises on the below roads and are happy for a kit to be installed, please contact communitybleedkit@avonandsomerset.police.uk."
The partnership is looking for Yeovil businesses to have a bleed kit installed on High St, Wine St, Union St, Newton Rd, Market St, and the Bus station area.
