A fun-filled Apple Day is set to return to Frome on October 19.
The free event will take place at the Old Showfield between 11am and 2pm.
Organised by Frome Town Council, the event aims to bring the community together to celebrate Frome's local environment, heritage, and harvest time.
Activities will include crafts and games, apple pressing and tasting, a gurning competition with the Rare Species Theatre Company, and live music from Nick Ray and friends.
Attendees will also have the chance to adopt one of 100 heritage apple tree saplings.
Councillor Anita Collier said: "After a few years’ gap, Apple Day is back in 2024 and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the harvest, the turning of the year and lots of delicious apples.
"Whether you're an apple aficionado or simply enjoy spending time in nature with family and friends, there’s something for everyone at this fun and friendly family event."
Other events include a tree walk with local tree expert Julian Hight, wild beehive making, willow bird feeder making, and a hedgehog trail from the Frome Shed.
All activities are free, but some require booking.
