An accountancy firm has welcomed 18 new trainees across its South West offices, including five in Taunton.

Milsted Langdon said the new recruits are a 'significant investment' in its growing team.

The Taunton office has taken on George Beake, Santin Kuriakose, Jack Lester, Joe Sussex, and George Whelan in the accountancy team.

The Bristol office sees the biggest intake, with Abdul Ali, Daniel Jenkins, Oliver Parish, Daniel Rowden, Joel Tudor, Amanda Williams and Zak Ali joining the accountancy team, and Philip Manley recruited for the tax team.

In Yeovil, the team welcomes new starters Patsy Caines, Molly Gingell, and Kieran Gosling in the accountancy department, while Joseph Eversden joins the tax team.

The Bath office also welcomes accountancy trainee, Abigail Searle.

Each of the trainees will undertake their professional ACA, AAT, ATT, ACCA, or CTA qualifications, alongside practical training in technical skills, client service, and collaborative working.

Rachel Hotham, people partner at Milsted Langdon, said: “A hugely warm welcome to our new cohort of trainees as they start their journey with us!

“This is an exciting time for all of us at Milsted Langdon, as new talent and perspectives come into the firm and support the outstanding service we aim to deliver to our clients.

“Our longstanding commitment to training new accountants and tax professionals is the key to our sustainable growth and continued professional excellence.

“We’re all firm believers in personal as well as professional development, which is what we aim to provide to all our trainees and new starters elsewhere in the business.

“We’re delighted that our new colleagues have chosen to begin their career with us, and we strive to offer an inclusive and supportive learning environment that provides the skills our new starters need to succeed.”
