A new addition to the Sound of the Streets Day has been announced.
Street performer Jackie Clementines will star at the Bridgwater event on October 12.
The juggler, clown, rapper, and director of the Farmyard Circus will be the event's host.
Mr Clementines also runs festivals and events in Somerset as the director of Taunton Youth Culture and Arts.
The Sound of the Streets Day is set to bring Bridgwater High Street to life with samba bands, brass, youth bands, street drumming, and now street theatre.
It invites everyone to come and listen, dance, sing along, and join in.
The day will be full of music, dance, and theatre with some of Somerset and the UK's finest street musicians.
The event will begin at 10am with a solo saxophone performance.
The mass samba band from Bristol, Ilu Axe, and the Tongues of Fire Band will follow.
Street Beats will perform around 12.30pm and at 1.30pm attendees can join in The Big Sing.
The Sound of the Streets organiser Tim Hill said: "We are really pleased to have Jackie join us to add some theatrical pizzazz to our street music day.
"We have been collaborating with him at festivals around the UK for some time and love his energy, skill, and enthusiasm."
The event has been made possible by the Animating the Town Centre Panel funded by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government Town Deal.
