An "erotic, bloodthirsty and not for the faint-hearted" production of Dracula is coming to Taunton Brewhouse this November.
Brought to you by the Taunton Thespians, the show will run from November 5 to 9.
It is definitely not for under 16-year-olds or those of a sensitive disposition.
This brand new adaptation puts Count Dracula himself front and centre in an "erotic, blood-soaked and, in places, shocking" retelling of the classic gothic novel.
Jonathan Harker encounters the mysterious Count Dracula on a business trip to Transylvania.
When Count Dracula travels to England, terror follows, threatening Mr Harker’s fiancée Mina and her friend Lucy.
Him and his friends, led by Professor Van Helsing, must risk everything to end the vampire’s reign of blood.
Performances are nightly at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
This brand new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel is by young local actor Jasmine Otley, last seen in the Thespians’ production of Pride and Prejudice.
This version of Dracula is a world premiere.
Director Jo Case's previous productions include a well-received version of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible at Blake Drama in Bridgwater.
Tickets for Dracula are available from £7 per person.
