WestWorldFest, a new independent music festival, is coming to Shepton Mallet in 2025.
The festival, celebrating the UK's ska, rock, and classic alternative acts from the '80s and '90s, is set to run from May 2 to May 4 at The Bath & West Showground.
With three music stages, The Pleasure Dome Theatre, street food, bars, chill-out tents, and various camping options, the festival promises a comprehensive experience for music enthusiasts.
The line-up features well-known bands like Doctor and The Medics, Ed Tudor-Pole, Eddie and The Hot Rods, Nine Below Zero, The Beat, and The Undertones.
Organisers are focusing on a fan-oriented approach, aiming to provide a festival experience that caters to Generation X but appeals to younger audiences as well.
Dr and The Medics' "The Doctor" will serve as the master of ceremonies.
The event is designed to handle all weather conditions, with large indoor arenas, paved walkways, and an 800-capacity two-storey indoor bar.
A weekend camping pass, including parking, is priced at £155.
The festival has a daily capacity of 7,500 and no minimum age requirement, although under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
