Literature enthusiasts gathered for the launch of a new book in Minehead.
More than 70 people came together at Dunster's Tithe Barn on Friday, October 18, for the launch of the 'Tale of the Dunster Dragon'.
The book, featuring a story-poem, was illustrated by Bath-based artist Andrew Prescott.
It was brought to life by author, storyteller, and sound practitioner Alexandra Simson.
Under the glow of twinkling lights and a large display of Prescott's artwork, Ms Simson read the revived legend.
Guests enjoyed refreshments from Minehead's Toucan Whole Food Café, while Josh West from Drum Nation and Ms Simson provided musical entertainment.
'Tale of the Dunster Dragon' intertwines Dunster's castle, local landscapes, folklore, and heart-healing.
The book is available to purchase online at sound-well.co.uk/dunster-dragon, and Ms Simson will be performing a storytelling of the legend at Dunster Castle on Wednesday, October 30.
