A charity is set to host a stargazing fundraiser.
Arc is organising an event called Beneath the Night Sky, which will take place on November 16 at the Somerset County Cricket Club.
The gathering will include a three-course meal, a talk by a Royal Astronomical Society fellow, public stargazing with professional astronomers, and an exhibition of cosmic photographs.
The event is in partnership with Space Detectives founder Jo Richardson and her husband Pete, an award-winning astrophotographer and telescope maker.
Arc hopes the evening, the first of its kind in Taunton, will draw in those with a passion for astrophysics, stargazing, or space exploration.
Tickets are £45 each and can be bought from the Taunton Visitor Centre, Nook & Cranny Wellington, or online at tktp.as/EJYWPP.
The evening is designed to be both enjoyable and informative, whether attendees are part of a group, family, or a table of 10 celebrating the festive season.
All the money raised will aid Arc's mission of providing vital services to people in need.
The night offers an opportunity to support the local homeless community while enjoying an evening beneath the stars.
For further details or to purchase tickets directly through Arc, contact Sam Parr at sparr@arcinspire.co.uk.
Arc's work in Somerset focuses on helping those facing homelessness, offering shelter, support, and empowerment to help individuals reach their potential.
The event has been made possible thanks to sponsors Barton Law, Neil Robertson Plumbing & Heating Ltd, Corza Medical, and Logic Distribution.
The evening aims to provide a unique experience while enabling Arc to continue its important work.
