PEOPLE travelling near Taunton are stressing after a crash on the M5 is now affecting people travelling in and around the town.
Taunton's Toneway is now dealing with a huge traffic backlog as people look to get off the M5 and reroute their journey.
There are also delays on the A358, with reports of delays of six minutes increasing Southbound in Somerset.
The M5 is dealing with major delays caused by a fire to a lorry, that was carrying milk powder and diesel.
Police are at the scene in Weston, where a section of the M5 heading southbound remains closed.
People are being advised "not to travel" on the M5 between Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare.

A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire Rescue Service said: "We are currently on-site at a lorry fire on the M5 motorway’s hard shoulder, between Junctions 22 (Edithmead) and 23 (Dunball).
"We are collaborating closely with partner agencies, including the police and the Environment Agency."
At this time, the M5 northbound, which was closed for most of today (October 25), has reopened.
Speaking online via Facebook, one person said: "The M5 crash is causing major delays to traffic.
"Avoid Sainsbury's! It's totally gridlocked."
Another person said: "A39 gridlock just took me over an hour to get to my house in North Petherton."
