A SOMERSET A3066 road has been blocked off both ways after heavy flooding obstructed it today.
A stretch of the A3066 near Crewkerne, Somerset is blocked due to flooding on North Street both ways from Crewkerne turning to New Lane.
Drivers are advised to avoid driving through this stretch of the A3066 if travelling through the area.
This is not the first instance where flooding has affected roads in Somerset, as two men were rescued earlier this month (October) after trying to drive through flood water.
The men in question were eventually removed to dry land safe and well, and the road was closed by Chard Police.

Other flood notices in Somerset to note include a section of the A361, where a road is closed due to flooding on Cuts Road both ways from A361 New Road to Stanmoor Road.
