AN OASIS tribute act is headlining at Bridgwater’s Blake Hall for a Live Music Event hosted by students.
‘Definitely Mightbe: Oasis Tribute’ will be taking to the stage on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 7pm. The tribute act will be joined by local talent, ‘The Additions’ and ‘Petitions’.
The event which is being sponsored by international food chain, Nando’s, is being organised by Finn Mee and Jamie Hill, both students at Bridgwater and Taunton College, to help them complete their assignment.
Tickets for the gig, which are £11, can be bought at the Blake Hall, or online at: https://bit.ly/4eXsvZA
Finn and Jamie held an audition in the town to fill final support act slot. The band, ‘Petitions’, was chosen by the panel, which consisted of Jamie and Finn; Ivan Prochtor (member of ‘China Bears’), Luke Taylor (ex-member of ‘The Hot Puppies’), and Jacob Buckley (member of ‘Break The Tide’).
Finn Mee said: “This event will provide a night full of live music entertainment full of you sing-along tunes, with all the hits from the Oasis tribute, to all of your general Indie hits played by 'The Additions', then a brilliant splash of original music from 'Petitions'. The event is greatly priced to assure you have an amazing, cheap night!"
