A WELL-KNOWN road in Taunton is set to close tonight as announced by the Somerset Council.
The Crescent, near Taunton's town centre, is due to close today (October 28) into the night.
The planned closure will affect traffic travelling to Somerset's County Hall, The Crescent is being resurfaced with works planned to be completed by 11pm.
In a statement issued by Somerset Travel, a spokesperson said: "The Crescent, in Taunton, will be closed this evening, Monday November 28, to complete resurfacing.
"The area will be closed off between 18.30pm today and 11pm.
"Apologies for any inconvenience."
