Gypsy Lane will temporarily close for four days this month due to Openreach works.
Somerset Council has announced the closure to lay duct and carry out civils work.
Works are planned to commence on November 18 and are expected to be completed by November 21.
The closure will affect all traffic from the junction with Briar Close, south-eastwards for a total distance of 109 metres.
The works, which will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm, are necessary for safety reasons.
The council has stated the road needs to be closed "because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works."
