Stonebridge Drive is set to close for two days this month.
The closure will be between Birch Walk and Laurel Close, a distance of 45 metres, to allow Openreach to lay duct.
The order was made by Somerset Council under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Works are expected to start on November 6 and finish on November 7.
It will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this time.
Further information on the alternative route can be found at one.network/?tm=139893700.
People will need to register for free with One.Network to view closures more than two weeks in advance.
For more information about the works, people can contact Sunbelt Rentals on 0370 050 0792, quoting reference number ttro085414E.
The closure is being enforced to ensure the work can be carried out safely and to prevent any potential danger to the public or damage to the road.
This was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on Thursday, October 10.
