The Worried Men are set to perform for a Blues-Rock Music Night in Taunton this month.
Led by guitarist and singer Jamie Thyer, they will be at CICCIC, Memorial Hall, on November 9.
The band's album Excelsior! was made record of the week on Radio Caroline.
Mr Thyer has played alongside Robert Cray, Johnny Winter, Nine Below Zero, and Peter Green during his career.
He said: "In this modern age of tawdry, vulgar values, we probably appear like the last of the steam locomotives.
"When you see us, you see how a real blues-rock band goes to work.
"Come and feel the breath of the beast on your face."
The band has a strong following in the UK and beyond, helped by the release of their latest album Excelsior.
Andrew Knutt, CICCIC director, said: "Jamie is one of the most accomplished electric guitar players I know, and you will be astounded by the speed and complexity of his guitar playing.
"This man is truly a rock legend and you have to see him perform to believe it."
Tickets are £15 in advance or £19 on the door.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the performance starting at 8.15pm.
