WHEN out and about, sometimes we don't take in our surroundings and mistake people for our favourite celebrities - well in Somerset, that may not be the case this year.
Some of the biggest celebrities in the TV game and Hollywood have been spotted in Somerset over the last couple of years including Deborah Meaden, Nicolas Cage, David Beckham, and more.
Deborah Meaden:
Born in Taunton, Deborah Meaden is known as a fierce businesswoman who has appeared on BBC's Dragon's Den for almost 20 years, having joined the series for season three in 2006.
The businesswoman is regularly seen in Somerset, particularly near Curry Rivel.
It is suspected that she owns a property near Langport.
The Dragon also owns a textile business called Fox Brothers Textiles, which can be found in Wellington.

Johnny Depp:
Johnny Depp has previously spoken about his love for Somerset.
“Somerset is famous all over the world,” says Johnny Depp.
"In modern times it is because of Glastonbury, which is very well known as one of the biggest annual music festival gigs on the planet.
"I think that is the first thing that comes to mind."
Depp added: "I know that Somerset is also famous for its caves, its countryside and it has a great history – oh yes, and cider, of course.
"I think it is a really nice part of Britain and that is why I have spent a lot of time here."
Peter Andre:
Peter Andre and his family have ties to Somerset.
The former I'm a Celeb contestant welcomed the newest edition to his family earlier this year, when Peter and his wife Emily welcomed their baby girl at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton, Somerset.
Emily Andre, Peter's wife of eight years, was also born in Taunton.
The mysterious girl singer had previous ties to Somerset and owned a 'base' in the county for some time, however, Peter spends most of his time at his home in East Grinstead, near London.

David Beckham:
Despite living over four hours away from Taunton, Somerset, David Beckham has been spotted in Somerset more times than you can imagine.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United footballer visited Pilton, Somerset, with Michael Eavis to see a development of affordable rental homes.
The homes were built using stone from Worthy Farm and feature open-plan ground floors and log burning stoves.
Beckham is a big Glastonbury Festival fan and was spotted there in 2021 and 2023.
He has also been seen in Clevedon, where he was watching his son, Romeo, play for Millfield against Clevedon Town Football Club's under-18 team.
After the match, David posed for countless photos and chatted to fans who paid tribute to the "truly lovely bloke."
A magician also got David to sign a playing card after performing some tricks.

Nicolas Cage:
The Hollywood star spoke about his love for Somerset in an interview with Absolute Radio back in 2022.
Cage, 58, has owned a cottage in the village of Baltonsborough, near Glastonbury, since 2006.
The actor also spent 2019 New Year's Eve in a Somerset pub and bought everyone a drink.
One of the locals says the Oscar winner was a "total legend" and a "cool dude" as he partied away in 2019.
"I have a modest little cottage in Somerset I have been dreaming to get back to but, with everything we have been contending with, it has been so difficult,” said Cage.
"I am looking forward to getting back to your side of the world - such nice people in Somerset."

Larry Lamb:
Known for his role as Michael Shipman in the hit BBC show Gavin and Stacey, Larry Lamb made the headlines this month (November) after it was revealed that he was becoming a landlord at a Somerset Pub.
Larry opened Yeo Valley's 'The Moo Inn' at the start of November selling milk stout on draught, and a menu full of Yeo Valley-based meals.

Martin Roberts:
Best known for presenting BBC's Homes under the hammer, Martin Roberts has been known for his time spent in Somerset.
Other than visiting properties within Somerset, Roberts used to live in Paulton, Somerset, with his wife and two children in an 18th-century house.
In an interview with Visit Somerset, the now 61 year old said: "Why do I love Somerset?
"Where do I begin?
"Just the name starts my head and my heart racing.
"As a County, it's almost undiscovered and yet you come here, and I chose to live here, and you wonder why the heck is it so undiscovered.
"It's the atmosphere of the place for me, stumbling upon a little pub where they serve Somerset cider, sawdust on the floor, and how it's not forced.
"It's not forced here, it's just how it is.
"I love it!"
