FESTIVE shoppers are invited to a free Christmas Craft Fayre & Tasting Event at an award-winning Somerset farm shop next Saturday (November 9, 2024) to help officially kick off the Christmas countdown.
Rumwell Farm Shop, which is located on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, is hosting the Taste of Rumwell event on Saturday, November 9 from 9am until 4pm.
Anne Mitchell, partner at the award-winning farm shop and café, says: “We’ll be offering visitors the chance to sample many of our finest food products from our Made at Rumwell range including our Deli and Butchery Taste of the West award-winning items within the shop.
“We’ll also have stallholders onsite selling homemade/handcrafted products including crafts, homewares, gifts, decorations, bunting, soaps, glass ornaments, artwork and stationery with a Somerset or Devon connection.
“As well as these, we’ll have our own Rumwell table and a second Bakery/Cake Kitchen one too.
“Our gluten free kitchen team will also have a stall. Our charity of the Year, Mind in Somerset will be onsite to chat to visitors about its work and to fundraise too.”
The Christmas Craft Fayre & Tasting Event will be indoors in the Rumwell Orchard events space.
The Farm Shop’s Food to Go Takeaway and award-winning Café will both be open and serving refreshments as normal.
Anne adds: “Come along and sample some of our award-winning products, chat to the teams who make them to find out more and enjoy all the other artisan arts and craft stalls we’ll have onsite too.
“It promises to be a wonderful day out and a great start to the official countdown to Christmas. Admission is free.”
