THE MP for Taunton and Wellington has confirmed details of his first 'pub surgery', where he will speak with constituents about their concerns.

Gideon Amos has provided details online via Facebook to alert people of when they can next speak to him, he said: "MP Pub Surgery Friday, November 8!

"Please share

"At 'The Barn’ at the Bathpool Inn, TA2 8BE: 7-8pm

"The Ring of Bells, St James Street, TA1 1JS: 8.15-9.30pm

"I look forward to meeting you, as I said before this is informal so no booking needed, just show up and have a chat!

"For complex casework please email my team, this informal surgery is a chance to discuss local issues as well as national policy! A few members of my team will be there to chat as well and take details where necessary."

This will be followed by an eventual Coffee Shop Surgery in the next few weeks.

Speaking about his plans earlier this month, the Taunton and Wellington MP said: "Following the overwhelming response to my previous post about ‘Informal Surgeries’ I will be piloting my first Pub Surgery next week (as shown above) in Taunton Town Centre, this is a chance to discuss local issues, as well as national policy.

"I will be available to chat to, alongside a few members of my team, at a few pubs in the middle of Taunton across the evening, schedule will be posted ahead of time, any suggestions for locations please let me know in the comments so it can be arranged.

"This will be followed up by a Coffee Shop Surgery in the next few weeks. For those who want something a bit more structured I will make these issue/topic specific to facilitate constructive conversation.

"Gideon."
