The Taunton Thespians are gearing up for their opening night of Dracula at the Brewhouse.
The production, which is a new adaptation by local actor Jasmine Otley, will run from Tuesday, November 5, to Saturday, November 9, at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
It follows Jonathan Harker's encounter with the mysterious Count Dracula during a business trip to Transylvania.
As Count Dracula travels to England, he begins to threaten Mr Harker’s fiancée Mina and her friend Lucy.
To stop Dracula's reign of terror, he and his friends, led by Professor Van Helsing, must take drastic measures.
Photos from the dress rehearsal have been released, giving audiences a sneak peek into what to expect.
This marks the second new work the Thespians have performed this year.
Director Jo Case, who received praise for her adaptation of Arthur Miller’s "The Crucible" at Blake Drama in Bridgwater, is at the helm of this production.
Tickets are available from the Taunton Brewhouse box office, online, and in person at the Taunton Visitor Centre.
