A DRIVER has been fined after a “dangerous overtake” on the A358 in Taunton.
The driver, who was overtaking on double white lines and police said, was fined and lost five points.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “This dangerous overtake on double white lines (A358, Taunton) was captured on the JourneyCam and reported via our portal.
“Heard at Bath Magistrates’ Court in October, where driver pleaded guilty by post resulting in: 5 points £202 in fines/costs.
“The outcome could have been so different.”
