A 22-year-old nature photographer has now become an author.
The new children's book, by Ben Lee, from Charlton Adam, features the character Luna, a fawn inspired by his love for photographing roe deer and the moon.
He said: "I have always loved the idea of writing a children’s book.
"It has been on my agenda for some years.
"Luna is a fawn, inspired by my love for photographing roe deer and the moon in my local area."
Mr Lee has lived in Somerset for most of his life and wants to start Luna's adventures from the county.
He added: "Everyone loves something new and funny.
"Creating Luna has been exactly that, enjoyable, every minute of it, and coming up with ideas for her has been extremely fun.
"Living in the countryside, our massive problem is litter, and the impact it has on our wildlife around us.
"With recycling, travel, education, the focus of nature within the book, I am making Luna a role model for children in many ways."
The book is priced at £13.99 and can be purchased from The Bishop's Palace, Wells Cathedral, and Teals Farm shop, with more stockists expected soon.
