A CAR crashed in Taunton this morning on a roundabout near the shopping park at Hankridge Way.
Occurring around 8am today (November 6), police attended an incident involving a car that skidded off Bridgwater Road's roundabout heading towards the A38.
It was just one vehicle involved, with no multi vehicle collision reported.
The car involved is believed to be a white Ford Fiesta.
Happening at "approximately 8:15am", one person who drove past the incident spoke to the County Gazette.
Thomas Braide, who lives in Creech Heathfield, near Taunton, said: "The car completely spun off the road at around 8:15am.
"It was foggy this morning, so maybe that's why the driver skidded off the road when trying to come off towards Creech.
"They were going way too quick on the roundabout - even with the slippy road conditions.
"The police came no longer after the crash and made sure the driver was all okay.
"It didn't seem like the driver had any injury."
The Avon and Somerset Police have been approached for a detailed report of the earlier incident.
