A POPULAR art gallery in Taunton will move after 10 years of trade, closing operations at its current site as it looks at another town centre unit.
The Surridge Gallery, located at 6 North Street, has come to the end of its lease. All current stock at the shop is on sale, with discounts of up to 75%.
L.S Lowry, Andy Warhol, Beryl Cook, and Winston Churchill are among some of the artists whose limited edition work the gallery has sold.
"The Surridge Gallery has been here for ten years, and we’ve been helping people in Taunton and the surrounding areas find the artwork they want to buy,” said Anne Craib, commercial director. “We’ve come to the end of the lease here and we’re looking at another unit in Taunton town centre. Our clients are pleased that we’re not going, as we’ll continue to support artists and buyers."
The gallery stocks a wide range of national and international artists with both abstract and realism works on offer. “We’ve literally got something for everybody here," said Craib.
