New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Perry Street Club and Institution, a pub, bar or nightclub at Knapp Mill House, Waterlake Road, Tatworth, South Chard was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 3.

And Wiveliscombe Rugby Football Club, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Wiveliscombe Rfc, The Recreation Ground, West Road, Wiveliscombe was given a score of five on October 14.

A Somerset restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Lovington Bakery, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 1 Market Place, Wincanton, Somerset was given the score after assessment on October 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Somerset's 1,006 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 840 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
