MINEHEAD Town Council is "working closely" with the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces Veterans' Breakfast Club to commemorate Remembrance Day this year.
Three Remembrance Services are taking place over Sunday, November 10, and Monday, November 11, to honour the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars, and in later conflicts.
Events taking place include the Drumhead Service of Remembrance, on Sunday, November 10, 10.30am, in Minehead's Wellington Square.
A Remembrance Service will also be taking place at 12pm on November 10, at Alcombe War Memorial, Manor Road.
This will be followed by a Remembrance Service at 3pm, November 10, at the War Memorial on Martlet Road.
On Monday, November 11, a two-minute silence will be observed at the War Memorial on Martlet Road.
