Plans to convert former offices at 11 Hammett Street into two home complexes are among those submitted for approval this week.
Document 38/24/0334 is looking to change the use of commercial offices into eight one-bed and one two-bed flat at the Taunton address.
The building was formally used as an office, but, if these plans are approved, they will be converted into two new flat complexes which will then be let out for use.
This mid-terraced Grade II* Listed Georgian building is arranged over ground, first and second floors with a number of internal features. The building currently provides cellular offices at each level, all having been recently redecorated.
The property has previously suffered from flood damage with areas having been stripped out in readiness for refurbishment works. Planning permission has been granted for such works to re-instate the property.
The property was up for sale by public auction and online livestream auction June 24 and was bought by the current developer who has submitted thie planning application.
The documents will be reviewed by Somerset Council planning officers before a decision to approve or refuse the plans will be made.
