THINK you could be the next big Hollywood movie star? Well, if you live in Somerset then that might be an easier opportunity than you think.
Posted via the CastingCollective website, an opportunity has arisen that allows budding actors from Somerset a chance at being in a film.
The mystery film is yet to be revealed, with filming set to take place from May to June 2025.
The location, whilst confirmed to be Somerset, has not specifically been announced yet, with a photo of Mendip Hills attached to the casting call.
The film is described as a "high-profile fantasy feature film," and the casting team are looking for people aged 16+ who have finished their GCSEs. All work will be paid.
Speaking about the opportunity, the casting team posted asking for extras via the CastingCollective website.
The post reads:
"Calling all artists!
"We are looking for people of all ages, ethnicities and genders for filming on a high-profile fantasy feature film in Somerset.
"Filming is from May to June 2025 and you must be 16 or over.
"We encourage individuals of all genders, ethnicities, and ages to apply.
"Our casting calls are fully compliant with the UK Equality Act, and we’re particularly interested in hearing from deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent talent, and we will work with you to ensure your access needs are met.
