A Glastonbury rock band has released a new Christmas anthem.

Alien Shamans, a high-energy concept rock band, has released Jingle My Bells, inspired by Slade's 1973 classic Merry Xmas Everybody.

The band, formed in 2022, is known for blending unique vocal resonance with catchy lyrics and distinctive guitar solos.

They draw inspiration from classic rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Rolling Stones, and INXS, adding their own extraterrestrial twist.

The dynamic quartet is led by singer and songwriter Lui Krieg, with guitarist Dave 'Fast Hand' Butlers, bassist Nick Walkling, and drummer Ryan Stevens.

Paul Foss, the band's music composer, director, and producer, is considered the fifth member.

The band released their debut single, 'Edge of Time,' on October 10.

The single, which features an AI video with Cosmic Shaman 'Zorwand the RiftShifter,' has amassed nearly 200,000 streams in less than a month.

The video depicts Zorwand on a mission to Earth with a unique combination of sacred sound and rock 'n' roll.

Alien Shamans aim to create a ripple in time and space, awakening listeners to realise their true potential.
