A BED and Breakfast based in Wells has reached the final of the Bristol, Bath, and Somerset Awards for 2024.
The Cross at Croscombe has again made the final shortlist for ‘B&B & Guesthouse of the Year‘ this year.
The Somerset Bed and Breakfast takes its name from the Market Cross which stands outside the front of a 15th century building.
Throughout its long and colourful history, the building has always been a place of refuge, rest and relaxation.
Since opening as a bed and breakfast, the premises have won numerous awards.
This includes the award they have reached the final for, taking silver in the ‘B&B of the Year‘ category at the Bristol, Bath, and Somerset Awards 2022/23.
The Cross at Croscombe owner, Terri Chichester, has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry.
It has always been Terri’s ambition to run her very own bed & breakfast and after a complete renovation, The Cross at Croscombe bed & breakfast opened for business in July 2014.
The Cross at Croscombe will find out their fate on the awards night which will be held on December 5.
Speaking after winning the B&B guesthouse of the year in 2018, Terri said: "This means the world to me.
"Guests have been very generous in their praise and their positive feedback has gone a long way in helping my Somerset B&B to win numerous awards.
"These mean a great deal to me. Even more rewarding is welcoming back so many familiar faces time and again.
"It's an award which has a credence, I was measured, merited, and I love it.
