A SOMERSET pub has been awarded a National Sports Pub of the Year award for 2024 this month (November).
The Arrow is a Marston's pub in Yeovil, Somerset, renowned for its daily entertainment on offer on flat-screen TVs.
Offering a variety of beers and ciders on draught, The Arrow is a dog-friendly drinking spot that has a pool table, darts board, cask ales, and more.
The Sports Pub of the Year award highlighted The Arrow for delivering a "best-in-class experience" during sports events and creating a reputation within the community as the pub of choice for enjoying sports.
Open every day, The Arrow has different times for when it serves food, but is open from 11am to 11pm, except for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, when the pub is open until 12am.
The Arrow is a Large Marston's estate pub and always a popular venue for pre and post-match drinks when Yeovil Town FC are playing at home.
Speaking after winning Sports Pub of the Year for 2024, a spokesperson from The Arrow said: "We only went and done it!
"Last night, the team at The Arrow-Yeovil went to an awards night and we won sports pub of the year.
"This is a national award meaning we were crowned the best sports pub for the whole of the UK.
"I am so so so proud of all my team."
