A SOUTH West coach service has been cancelled after "heavy adverse weather" has affected the normal route.
Today (Thursday, November 2024) South West coaches have made the decision to abandon the CR5 coach service.
This route, which goes from Yeovil to Sherborne, has been abandoned due to the amount of snow and ice affecting traffic in the area.
As of today, there are reports of cars skidding off the A37 between Yeovil and Grimstone.
In a statement made online via X (Twitter), a spokesperson from South West Coaches said: "Route Suspended.
"We have suspended a route due to the heavy adverse weather.
"The route for service CR5 will not continue until the roads become safe. We shall update once this occurs."
