NEARLY 600 homes in Martock and East Chinnock are without power this morning (Sunday, November 24, 2024) as Storm Bert wreaks havoc with the electricity infrastructure in the locality.
According to the National Grid, 586 properties in the TA18 and BA22 areas are affected. It is reported as a High Voltage incident, meaning supply is affected in the wider area.
Both incidents are expected to be resolved by later this morning. There's also been power cuts reported in Taunton.
To report a power cut, you can call the National Grid on 105 or call 0800 6783 105 or 105 as soon as possible.
