RESTAURATEUR, Great British Bake Off presenter, and novelist Dame Prue Leith is visiting Taunton Brewhouse for a "special evening in conversation".

Prue, 84, will discuss her incredibly varied career, which included opening her own restaurants, catering, and cookery school businesses and sitting on the board of companies such as British Rail, Halifax, Safeway, and Woolworths.

The octogenarian, best known as a judge on the Great British Bake Off (GBBO), has also published eight novels, a memoir, I’ll Do Anything Once, and 14 cookbooks.

Booking is set to open at 10am on Friday, November 29, for the event, "In Conversation with Dame Prue Leith", which will take place at 7pm on March 18, 2025. Tickets can be purchased via the Brewhouse website.

Prue, who has a DBE for services to food journalism and Broadcasting, presented Prue’s Great Garden Plot last year and has taken up a new spot as a judge US equivalent of GBBO this year. She has also judged The Great British Menu and My Kitchen Rules.

The evening with Prue will run for 130 minutes. Tickets cost £23 to £28.
