A SUNDAY Times bestselling author is coming to Taunton’s Waterstones in December for a festive book signing and late-night shopping event.
Veronica Henry, who has sold over 2.5 million copies of her books worldwide, will be at the town’s Waterstones on East Street on Thursday, December 5, 2024. It follows the successful event in October with Guy Shrubsole.
It’s the first late night shopping event of the year for Taunton Waterstones, which will run 5.30pm to 8pm. Veronica will be signing copies of her aptly titled book How to Find Love in a Bookshop, while Devon-based author, Alexandra Dawe, will also be signing copies of The Stitchwort Curse and hosting a crafts table for kids to make Christmas cards.

In addition, the festive event will feature dedicated volunteers from St Margaret's Hospice, who will be hosting a gift-wrapping service. Double stamps are on offer for all purchases made on the evening, along with mince pies.
Waterstones in Taunton has also organised its first event for 2025. In February, the shop will be hosting an In Conversation event with bestselling authors, Jennie Godfrey (The List of Suspicious Things) and Lauren Bravo (Probably Nothing and Preloved).
More details will be released in the New Year.
