A COUNCIL contractor is repairing the Christmas lights in Taunton town centre.
The contractor “has been dealing with additional work following the heavy rain and high winds” after the lights failed on Tuesday (November 26), a Taunton Town Council spokesperson said.
“They’ve been out to look at them, found the problem and have got hold of the part that they need to complete the repair,” the spokesperson added.
The lights should be repaired this afternoon, the spokesperson also said.
