A SOMERSET pub has announced the return of a "local legend" who has been at the local for over nine years.
The Beambridge Inn, near Wellington, was originally a traditional coaching inn, the business and building have grown extensively over the last 200 years, masking its origins and age.
Formerly known as The Inn at Sampford, owners Karen and Craig Holmes opted to change the pub's name to its former name (The Beambridge Inn) in 2009.
Situated 1.5 miles south of Wellington town, there has been a public house at the Beambridge since 1832.

Known as a family-run business, the pub rewards its hard-working staff with suited promotions.
In October this year, staff members, Kai and Megan, were promoted to assistant manager and Front of House supervisor respectively.
Bar supervisor Rochelle Jones has been with the Beambridge Inn for nearly 10 years, loved by all the locals.

However, the local legend had been missing after she got married and dealt with health issues.
Thankfully, Rochelle's return to The Beambridge was announced at the end of November.
"We would like to extend a warm welcome back to our Supervisor of 9 years Rochelle who has returned to the pub today," said owners Craig and Karen Holmes.
"Rochelle has been off for the last couple of months due to being unwell and more importantly to get married.
"I’m sure you all, like us, are very happy having Rochelle back to look after you all."
