CLARKS Village has officially launched its festive market for the season, with two new stores joining the outlet for Christmas.

The artisan market of independent stalls is spread across the Somerset shopping outlet, offering a taste of the South West’s best producers and crafters.

Clarks Village's Christmas market opened for the season on Friday, November 29. It is open daily until Christmas Eve along with Clarks Village’s Festive Ice Rink.

The Festive Market will feature Taunton handmade doughnut makers DoughBros,
treats from Sean the Chef, Kin Toffee Vodka, Spirit of Glastonbury Gin, Somerset’s cider farm Rich’s Cider and refreshments from the Happy Café Horsebox.

They will be joined by South West artists Matt Akister and Emma Keys, Somerset fused-glass artist Shelden Glass and wool felt artist Maxine Shattock, with handmade gifts from The Fairy Toadstool and luxury dog gifts from Smiley Myley – with more stalls to be confirmed.

Clarks Village asks visitors to check whether individual stalls are in attendance on specific days on its website before visiting the festive market.

In addition to the Festive Market, Clarks Village has welcomed two pop-up brands for Christmas. Accessories brand House of Tweed has opened next to Molton Brown, overlooking the outlet’s Central Square Gardens, while the Calendar Club has opened in Pear Court. Meanwhile, Bill’s restaurant is on track to open in December.

The outlet has also seen a refresh of two of its popular brands. As part of its glow-up, Levi’s has introduced a new fitting room experience while Pizza Express has enhanced its restaurant storefront.

Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, commented: "When it comes to new brands and experiences, Clarks Village has excelled this year. We’ve launched some incredible names such as Wagamama, Rituals, French Connection, MOSS and Slim Chickens alongside brand refreshes from Cadbury and a new café concept by Lindt. This is on top of our line-up of events from the new Open-air Cinema to the Pawsome Pooch dog event.

“We aim to finish the year on a high by re-launching our Festive Market, welcoming Bill’s as well as two Christmas pop-ups and our enchanting Ice Rink. Guests coming Christmas shopping will be delighted by the changes over the last year and we look forward to continuing to add to our guests’ enjoyment as we look ahead to 2025 and beyond.”
