TAUNTON Brewhouse has announced that executive director Vickie Robbins has been awarded the Women in Arts and Culture Award at this year’s West Country Women Awards.
The awards are designed to celebrate and highlight achievements and triumphs of women across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset – celebrating the fantastic work being done by businesses, individuals, and the community of West Country women.
Vickie said: “It is an honour to accept this award, but it is truly the dedication and hard work of the entire Brewhouse team that has earned it.
“This has been an incredibly busy and rewarding year for us, filled with challenges, triumphs, and a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional arts and cultural experiences to our community.
“As we prepare to open our Christmas show—a true team effort—it feels particularly special to be recognised in this way.”
The mission of the awards’ supporting charity is to empower, inspire, and support women across the South West, fostering a culture of inclusivity and equality while showcasing their remarkable accomplishments.
This accolade comes at a particularly exciting time for Taunton Brewhouse as the team prepare to open Pinocchio, their much-anticipated Christmas show this week. The production is a highlight of the calendar and represents the culmination of months of creativity, collaboration, and hard work from the entire team.
