More than 130 scuba divers dressed as Santa will take the plunge to raise money for charity.
The festive fundraising dive is set to take place at Vobster Quay on Sunday, December 15.
This year, the event will raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes.
Vobster Quay owner, Amy Stanton, said: "It’s been 17 years since the very first charity Santa dive took place at Vobster Quay and, in that time, it has raised more than £52,000 for worthy causes.
"Every year, diving clubs and individuals from across the country converge on Vobster for a thoroughly festive and very silly scuba dive like no other."
"Normally it’s between 130 and 150, but of course the whole point isn’t just the number of divers on the day, it’s also the amount of fundraising that’s going on.
"The divers actively promote their participation and get their friends and family to donate."
The total of 188, in 2015, set a world record for the most Santa divers – a record that remains to this day.
