An ANIMAL lover's campervan has been put up for auction by an animal sanctuary in Somerset.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary is inviting adventure lovers to bid on a campervan generously donated by an unnamed supporter.
The beautifully maintained 2004 Citroen Berlingo 600td Hdi Romahome, which has a valid MOT until January 2027 and has recently been serviced by a registered Citroën dealer, is now ready for its next owner to explore the open road.
Its previous owner, who has asked to remain anonymous, said, “My decision regarding Ferne was driven by my love of animals and the work that they do.
"We reasoned that if there was money to be made, Ferne would be a good place for it to go.”
The pop-top vehicle has 61,000 on the clock and includes a 2.0l diesel engine, manual gearbox, electric windows, air conditioning, a 60l fridge, SMEV double hotplates and grill, Thetford toilet, gas safety certificate, electric hook-up equipment, fold away bed and much more.
