On a sunny afternoon, members met at the Church Centre for this September meeting. As usual, it was on a harvest theme, starting off with a well planned short service, concluded by Joan Smith. Hymns were sung. Thanks to Mrs J. Williams for providing the music. Members also appreciated the other suitable music that was played and the contribution to the service.
Tea and biscuits followed before the auction of goods. Mr Sealey got the members to spend well amongst much laughter, so the group benefited from the sale.
Members were reminded that subscriptions were due at the next meeting, which is the annual A.G.M. on October 29, at the Church Centre. New members are very welcome.
Mrs Saunders gave a vote of thanks to Mrs Smith, Mrs Willis and Mr Sealy for their contribution to a very enjoyable afternoon.
