REDRUTH take a day off from league action to take on Berry Hill in the Powergen Knockout Cup at the Recreation Ground on Saturday (see also page 45).
Berry Hill, who play in South West Two, won 15-7 at Exmouth last week, but they are back in the cup due to administration error by original opponents Newton Abbot who won the match.
The Reds will be confident of victory having last week seen off the challenge of Gloucester Old Boys, but they will not be underestimating and side travelling from Gloucestershire.
The Reds will select from a probable squad of: C Bonds, L Vinnicombe, B Brown, P Thirlby, N Pedley, M Scrivener, M Richards, D Jacques, S Harrison, S Heard, N. Corin, R Carroll, J Navin (capt), J Hosking, J Lancaster, A Hymans, N Pryor, E Cowie, N Douch, M Brown, and A N Another.
The Reds 2nd XV are also on the road, they have been fixtured away against Ivybridge.
The Colts will play an under 17's Bodmin team at home.
Camborne are at home to Mounts Bay in the Powergen Intermediate Cup competition and will be guarding against becoming the victims of a sup upset.
The Bay have made a great start to the season and can field a very experienced line-up.
Camborne's 2nd XV pay at St Clements Hill against Truro Reserves and "Town's" 3rd XV is away to St Day.
Camborne's under 17's are home to Bude.
Hayle will also be at home when they entertain Bude in the Cup.
