Lee Canoville and Steve Woods are the only injury doubts for Leroy Rosenior as United build up to their second home game in as many weeks.
Canoville, who missed last week's 4-1 win over Macclesfield, has done a little light training this week. As has fellow defender Woods, who picked up a slight strain during the game.
Rosenior is likely to stick with David Graham and Jo Kuffour up front for the match, and United's fans will be hoping that the Gulls can break their Scunthorpe curse, which has seen the Iron dominate in games between the two teams over the last couple of seasons.
Iron manager Brian Laws is hoping to rush back 20-year-old defender Andy Butler, who has missed their last five matches with a bruised ankle. But Laws will be without the injured free-scoring youngster Steve MacLean, who is on loan from Rangers, and who scored 17 goals before Christmas. Remarkably though, he hasn't scored in his last eleven games.
A full report from the game will feature in this Sunday's Devon Independent. Plus a feature on the future of Torquay United's youth set-up.
