PRINCES William and Harry were reportedly spotted in the Wiveliscombe area yesterday (Thursday).

The Somerset County Gazette was told the Prince of Wales' sons were out pheasant shooting on Exmoor but Royal officials were unable to confirm the sightings.

Press officer Amanda Foster, of Prince Charles' official residence, Clarence House, said staff did not keep track of the Princes' private engagements.

"They are private individuals," she said. "Anything is possible."

Sources in Wiveliscombe said nothing unusual had happened and no helicopters, official-looking vehicles or extra police were in town.

And local police said they had not been notified of any Royal visit, official or otherwise.
