WELLINGTON Town Council's meetings have been moved to a new venue following complaints over disabled access.
The council's chamber at The Squirrel in Fore Street has been abandoned for Monday's planning and council meetings, in favour of the United Reform Church, just a few doors away.
The church's main hall is accessible to wheelchairs via a ramp from Squirrel Court.
The planning meeting is at 6.15pm with the main meeting at 7pm.
Town council chairman, Cllr Ross Henley has promised that all council meetings will be held in disabled-friendly venues, while issues over the inaccessibility of The Squirrel are addressed.
