The disappearing desk! A couple of weeks ago I found that I no longer had room for a rather nice modern darkwood desk with three drawers. I placed it at the bottom of my drive with a for sale sign on. After a few days as no one came to buy it I decided to keep it and take it to my workshop when I had time. Imagine my surprise when I came home one day to find it gone! Apparently a man with a beard and a hat and boots decided to help himself! It was thought he was driving a Volvo but not for definite. I'd love to solve the mystery of my vanishing desk! The family all think it's hysterical, and in a way I suppose it is but if you look at it another way it is also THEFT! Does anyone out there know WHO nicked my desk from Belmont Road a couple of weeks ago?
Sue Jenkin, Belmont Road, Helston.
